On June 24 2024, two of our Division 1307 Officers were invested in the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem along with a several others outstanding volunteers in Ottawa, Canada. This Order is part of the Canadian Honours System. As such, all appointments are sanctioned by the Governor General on behalf of the King of Canada.
Previous Superintendent Cassandra N. Trueman, MStJ and current Superintendent Philippe F. Lurol, MStJ travelled to Ottawa to attend the ceremony and receive their medals directly from the Lord Prior of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, Professor Mark Compton, assisted by the Chancellor of the Priory of Canada, Dr. André Levesque.
