New Divisional Superintendent

Updated: 5 days ago

As of February 15th 2023, Rogers Arena Division 1307 has a new superintendent.

As you may know, the former Superintendent Cassandra N. Trueman, MStJ was promoted to Lower Mainland Area Staff, as the new Area Training Officer.

A newer volunteer with plenty of Supervisory experience was selected to take her role, but changed her mind shortly after.

Less then a week after Cassandra was promoted, Philippe F. Lurol, MStJ was selected and appointed to replace Cassandra as the new divisional superintendent of Rogers Arena Division 1307.

Philippe came to St John Ambulance in 2018, in Division 54, Duncan. He later transferred to Division 336 Surrey where he stayed about 6 months before transferring to Division 336c Surrey Cadets as their Divisional Admin Officer. While there, Philippe served many other divisions as their administrative assistants while remaining actively involved with his own division. Philippe Transfered to Rogers Arena Division 1307 in September 2021 where he also served as Divisional Administrative Officer there, in addition to helping 9 other divisions with their administration. Philippe was decorated as a member of the Most Venerable Order of St John of Jerusalem in 2022 for his work in St John Ambulance Divisional Administration.

Philippe is also an experienced Primary Care Paramedic with the BC Emergency Health Services and hopes to continue to help his peers and volunteers treat their patients to the best of their abilities. Before that, Philippe was an experienced Health care aide, and upgraded his knowledge through Practical nursing school, but chose to pursue paramedicine instead of nursing to better serve his patients.

We welcome Philippe as the 2nd official Superintendent of Rogers Arena Division 1307 which officially became a division in 2018.
