Hello everyone!
In light of all the wildfires and other Emergency events in the province at this time, we would like to thank all of the volunteers who have stepped up, making themselves available to respond. We also want to encourage all of the members who have not yet responded to the call, to consider making yourselves available. This is kind of an all-hands-on deck situation, and we appreciate any help you can provide during this time.
To make matters easier for all of our members, we ask that you please cc Mary Loblaw, our emergency management officer for any sign ups with the emergency management people, and Arron Kar for any out of division events you are covering. Mary is in charge of all coordination between the Emergency Management team, including liaising with Shane Potter and needs to be kept appraised of all activity with our members getting involved with the Emergency Management Team.
Arron is our events coordination officer and needs to be aware of where our volunteers are (Rogers, other divisions, or emergency deployment)- this is also to ensure your safety as well as to ensure volunteers get checked in on to ensure their wellbeing.
As your division, we are accountable for all of you and are very grateful for everything you do for our division and for St John Ambulance as a whole.
Both Mary and Arron can be reached through the Rogers.Arena@sjabcy.ca account. Please cc that address in all communication with other divisions and emergency management personnel. It will also ensure I will also be kept in the loop
Thank you all for everything,
Sincerely,
Philippe Lurol, MStJ,
